CCYL now accepting applications
Coshocton County Youth Leadership (CCYL), a Leadership Coshocton County and Coshocton Foundation program, is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 program year.
Coshocton County Youth Leadership develops leadership skills in participants, increasing self-confidence and presents an opportunity to interact with community leaders as well as youth from area high schools. Through this experience CCYL participants gain leadership skills while exploring Coshocton County’s resources, challenges and opportunities.
Sophomores apply now for participation during their junior year. Participation from all Coshocton County high schools is encouraged, including Coshocton County Career Center; Coshocton Christian School and home-school youth.
Program days are typically held the third Wednesday of the month; however, youth are encouraged to check the website for the latest calendar. Deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 1. Due to scheduling conflicts with students enrolled in CCP, all applicants to CCYL are encouraged to attend applicant meetings at their high schools: Coshocton High School, Tuesday, Feb. 21, 9:25 a.m.; Ridgewood High School, Thursday, Feb. 23, 7:45 a.m. and River View High School Monday, Feb. 27, 7:45 a.m. Please confirm dates; times and locations with your high school guidance office.
Applications are available from area high school guidance offices; principals; or online at http://www.coshoctonfoundation.org/leadership/index.php/youth-leadership-application. For information, contact Betsy Gosnell at 740-622-0010 or email lead@coshoctonfoundation.org.
