Accident reported on Second Street
On Jan. 18, 2023 at approximately 12:07 a.m. the sheriff’s office received a 911 call in reference to a possible accident with injury in the 700 block of South Second Street in the city of Coshocton.
Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that Justina N. Luce, 26 years old, of Coshocton was pulling into the Taco Bell parking lot, when her vehicle rapidly accelerated going over a curb striking a clearance sign for the drive-thru. Justina’s vehicle continued across another set of concrete curbs before her vehicle came to a rest in the Ollie’s parking lot. Justina also had a passenger in the vehicle who was identified as Joseph W. Hagans, 19 years old, of Coshocton. It is believed that the cause of the crash was related to a medical complication. Justina was treated and released on scene. Joseph was transported to Coshocton Regional Medical Center for complaint type injuries.
Assisting the sheriff’s office on scene was Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton Fire Department, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
