Annual chamber of commerce auction to start April 17

| April 7, 2023

According to Amy Crown, executive director of the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce, the on-line auction is the only fundraiser the chamber has each year. “All of the money raised goes into our marketing budget to sell and support our community and businesses. Many wonderful community partners donate items each year to support the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce.”

Crown said the chamber has a wonderful group of volunteers that make phone calls and picks up the donated items. “Peddicord-Rice Auction services donates the on-line venue for us to use. We have generous sponsors that also support this annual chamber auction. We live in a very generous community that supports one another.”

A few of the sponsors are Platinum – Coshocton Regional Medical Center, McWane Ductile, Peddicord-Rice Auction Services; Gold – MFM Building Products, Coshocton County Beacon, Coshocton Broadcasting Company; and Silver – RHDD and Lity’s Scrap.

The auction will be held from Monday, April 17 – Saturday, April 22. Bidders can go to the chamber’s website, www.coshoctonchamber.com, and click on the link to the auction site.

Winners of items can pay by cash, check or credit card and items can be picked up at the new Coshocton Community Room at 637 Chestnut St. (the former Hopewell Industries building at the corner of Chestnut and Seventh Street) between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, April 24.
