Museum event topic is gardening
Meet Me at the Museum will be held on Tuesday, April 25 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. Bring a lunch or enjoy some snacks as you gather and casually discuss a new topic each time.
This is the time of year when our hearts and hands are in the garden. If you grow a garden or tend to houseplants or even just enjoy visiting gardens, bring a garden or plant-related story or object to share. Staff will share some gardening items from the museum’s collection with you as well—maybe some Victory Garden posters from WWII, some Japanese prints depicting gardens, and a special pressed flower journal that belonged to one of the Johnson brothers.
No registration is needed. This program is offered at no charge and made possible with the support of the Joe R. Engle Museum Gallery Fund of the Coshocton Foundation. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is in Historic Roscoe Village at 300 N. Whitewoman St. in Coshocton. Museum hours are Tuesday – Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. and all Sundays are free admission to Coshocton County residents.
