Princess Party planned at Universe Bridal and Prom
Universe Bridal and Prom is hosting a Princess Party for girls ages 3 to 10, on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from noon – 6pm. The $10 admission for the princess (payable as a cash payment on the day of the event) includes a tiara, name tag, and 10 tickets for the planned activities. Princess participants get to play games, win prizes, do crafts, a dance party and more.
“Princesses and their guests will also enjoy refreshments of hot dogs, chips, beverage, and cookie or cupcake, that will be served picnic style, so bring a blanket or chairs,” said Carly Goch, manager of Universe Bridal and Prom. “All our staff and volunteers are excited to welcome future Universe girls to the store for this princess party.”
Goch says the idea for the princess event was inspired by her own family. “I know how much fun my own young girls have playing dress up,” she said. “And several of the staff have young daughters or sisters. So it seemed like it would be something fun to do for the community.”
The Universe Princess Party will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, the event will be held inside. Princesses can bring up to two or three guests. All princesses must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. In addition to the complimentary refreshments, the Backwoods Smokehouse food truck and a snow cone vendor will also be onsite with offerings at an extra charge.
Princess spots are limited and must be pre-registered by calling Universe at 740-545-5005 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily. (Please do not leave a message as registration requires that you speak to a person.) Reservations can also be made through Universe Bridal and Prom’s Facebook messenger.
Universe Bridal & Prom has been under new management since 2021. It is located at Unusual Junction, 56310 US Hwy 36, West Lafayette, and is open by appointment for prom, homecoming, bridal and bridesmaids dress shopping.
