Our Town Coshocton announces first summer concert act
Our Town Coshocton is pleased to announce that Bad Animals The Heart Tribute will kick off the 2023 Coshocton Summer Concert Series. Attendance is free.
“With summer on the horizon our historic district’s downtown concert series is just around the corner. Last year saw 10,000 people attend our series across acts in June, July, and August on the courthouse square. Residents and visitors to Coshocton came together for an incredible experience, responsibly enjoyed the designated outdoor refreshment area, and local businesses thrived from the series. We are pleased to announce and cannot wait to host our opening act: Bad Animals- The Heart Tribute on Saturday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m.,” said Our Town Coshocton Director Lanny Spaulding
Bad Animals – The Heart Tribute is the next best thing to the real thing. Lead vocalist Daena D delivers a stunningly accurate recreation of Ann Wilson’s soaring signature vocals, while Gina D successfully captures the charismatic guitar and trademark vocals of Nancy Wilson. Together, both ladies also present a remarkable physical resemblance to the Wilson sisters, resulting in the most authentic tribute to Heart touring today. Bad Animals’ live performances feature a full, six-piece band, highlighted by the beautiful, powerful, flawless voices of these two ladies front and center.
The summer concert series is a joint effort between Our Town Coshocton and City Councilman Chad Johnson, representing the City of Coshocton. This series is made possible by the generous support of the Bechtol Fund of the Coshocton Foundation. This year’s series has an extra act in September and the dates are June 24, July 15, Aug. 4, and Sept. 9.
