The Cardinal Chorale will return to Coshocton on Thursday, June 15, to sing their final tour concert at Roscoe United Methodist Church. The concert will begin at 7 p.m.

Their six-day, eight-concert tour will have included concerts in Chesterville, Bucyrus, Amlin, Marion, Fostoria, Bowling Green, Dayton, and Powell. The Chorale’s 90-minute program will feature selections from their current show, “Let There Be Peace,” music that “will fill the soul and lift the spirit,” as one listener described a chorale performance.

Local chorale members include: Alexis Caley, Olivia Crouso, Grace Cullison, Ryan Gildow, LJ Grimmett, Teigue Hardesty, Jacob Heading, Sarah Heading, Camryn Kaercher, Dakota Kealiher, Mattie Kiser, Paige Nicely, Kailyn Shalosky, John Stamper, Aidan Stevens-Woolery, Liam Stevens-Woolery, Sheldon Stotts, and Lilly Wells. Local staff members for the tour include: Matt Downing, Caroline Heading, Erin Jobes, and Charles R. Snyder.

Ryan Gildow, a five-year member and recent River View graduate, said, “Every performance I love seeing the joy on people’s faces. When I see the audience smiling and showing appreciation for our music, I’m enveloped with happiness of my own. I absolutely love getting to spread the sound of music to people across the state, and impact their lives in a positive way.”

Organized in 1995 by its conductor, Charles R. Snyder, the Cardinal Chorale is a select 36-voice traveling ensemble of high school and collegiate singers. The Roscoe concert marks the conclusion of its 27th season.

There is no admission charge for the concert, but an offering will be received to help cover the chorale’s tour expenses and to further its mission work.
