Hartsock earns All-American title

2021 River View High School graduate, Kelsey Hartsock competed in the women’s pole vault at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Pueblo, Colorado on May 27, for Walsh University.

She competed against 20 other DII women’s pole vaulters from across the nation, where she finished fourth place with a height of 13’5.5”, earning her the title of All-American. This is Hartsock’s third time earning the All-American title. In 2022, she competed in the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field National Championship where she finished 11th place as second team All-American and 2022 NCAA DII Outdoor Track and Field National Championship finishing fifth place with the All-American title. Hartsock was also the 2023 GMAC Champion in the women’s pole vault and she also earned the title of All-Ohio as she was runner-up in the women’s pole vault in the 2021 OHSAA DII Track and Field Championships for River View High School.

Hartsock graduated Walsh University on May 6, with a bachelor’s in government foreign affairs and a minor in English.
