John Russell Shroyer

John Russell Shroyer, age 70, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Altercare. He was born on September 23, 1952 in Fresno to the late Margaret (Hartsock) and Russell Shroyer. He was a graduate of Ridgewood High School. On July 23, 1994, he married Patricia (Abel) Shroyer, who survives. He was a skilled mechanic and retired from the Coshocton County Engineers Office. He was very active in the community. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Coshocton Antique Tractor Association and the Farm Bureau. He had a great love for John Deere tractors and anything green and yellow. He and his wife attended the Fresno Bible Church.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Kevin (Megan) Shroyer, Angie (JR) Redman, Tammy (Ed) Crall and Michelle (Rob) Moore; grandchildren, Peyton (Noah) Gainey, Paige Shroyer, Lincoln (Kelsie) Shroyer, Christian (Ashley) Redman, Camron (Desiree) Redman, Austin Schaffer, Meaghan (Aaron) Kimble, Vincent (Jessica) Crall, Colt (Emily) Crall, Neill (Sammi) Moore, Beth (Richie Jarman) Moore and Emily Moore; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Norma) Shroyer and Mary (Ernie Jr.) Fry as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents and siblings, Peggy Wilden and Martha Welker.

Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 11am with calling hours one hour prior. Pastor Chris Cutshall will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
