Sutton Construction celebrates 60 years

| June 26, 2023

Sutton Construction was established in 1963 by Tom Sutton and his wife, Sharon.

They begin their business renovated homes, going into the rental market, and then moved into new construction.

Sharon was Tom’s first apprentice learning how to do the interior work. Sharon then took over the office and begin full time in 1993.

John Sutton learned the trade and skills from helping his father at the young age of about 8 and joined the business after graduating college in the early 90s. John’s son, Luke followed learning the skills at an early age and joined the company full time after collage.

This three-generation family business has called Coshocton home for the past 60 years. Tom unfortunately passed away but would be happy to see the roots and growth of this family business over the last decade.
