Community Fun Day returns to CRMC

| July 8, 2023

Mark your calendars. The second annual Community Fun Day is scheduled for Saturday, July 29 from 9 a.m. to noon.

This is a free event open to the public. Bring your friends and family for a day of fun. There will be free food, kid’s inflatables, bounce house, games, and giveaways. Meet Paw Patrol and Baby Shark. The first 100 kid’s receive a free T-shirt.

Local first responders and community agencies are also joining for a touch-a-truck event. Join Medflight, Coshocton County EMS, Value Care Ambulance, Tri-County Joint Ambulance District, Coshocton Fire Department, and Coshocton Sheriff’s Department. Meet local first responders and tour their emergency vehicles. The sheriff’s department will do a K-9 demo and Medflight will land (weather dependent) for tours and photos.

The Coshocton Health Department will be doing free car seat inspections. Bring your vehicle and child’s car seat and make sure you are using the correct car seat for their age and size, and that your seat has been installed properly. Getting your car seat checked by a safety professional could help save your child’s life. There will be a limited number of free convertible seats and booster seats available for eligible families whose seats are expired or otherwise deemed unsafe. Bring your child/children: Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on site to provide education and ensure that your child’s car seat is right for them and installed properly. Expecting parents are also welcome.

There will be free blood pressure and glucose screenings and free school and sports physicals at the urgent care location, 406 S. 15th St. in Coshocton.
