Terry Gisinger

| August 1, 2023

Terry Gisinger, 61, of Coshocton Ohio passed away peacefully at the Morrison Hospice House in Zanesville Ohio on July 31, 2023.

Terry was born on July 27, 1962 to Robert H. and Carol (Kiner) Gisinger in Millersburg Ohio.

He is survived by his mother Carol of Zanesville Ohio and 3 sisters, Sherri (Lee) Farquharson of Wooster, Sheila (John) Mays of Millersburg, and Angela (David) Crist of Nashport Ohio.  His father, Robert passed in July 2014. And his companion and love, Vicki Hall of 25 years in 2012.

Terry was loved by many. He was a good ole boy who cherished good friendships and spending time with his besties at the Eagles in Coshocton.

He was also attached to his best friend, his boxer, Bailey, who sorely missed him the day he left us.

A fun fact about Terry…. During a depressing time in his life, he said the Lord woke him up one morning and gave him an idea. That no matter how he was feeling, to go out each and everyday and touch at least one person a day and give them joy. He said he’d choose the grouchiest person he could find and go overboard to make them smile. He’s been doing this for 40 years. As a result of this, he didn’t know a stranger and was loved by many.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 10:00am – 11:00am with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with David Crist officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Miller Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
