Dana Michael Harrah

Dana Michael Harrah, age 63, of Coshocton, went home to be with the lord on Friday, August 11, 2023. He was born on September 20, 1959, in Zanesville, OH, to Gary Harrah and Faith (Vorys)Wood.

Dana lettered in track and cross country at River View High School. He was also a very talented artist, with some of his artwork being on display at RVHS. He then attended welding school and studied electronics at OIT. He worked at Coshocton Industries LLC as a skilled machinist for many years.

He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Dana had great faith and love for the Lord. He enjoyed listening to music, hunting, fishing, and racing, but his pride and joy was his Mustang that his brother Buck had helped him restore.

Dana had an intelligence that set him apart from most, but he was always humble and kind. He was a loving and giving man with a gentle heart that would do anything for anyone in need.

Dana is survived by his daughter, Amber Harrah of Coshocton, two grandchildren, Layla and Remington; Former wife, Renee Davis; Mother, Faith Wood of Newark; Brother, Kelly(Cindy)Harrah of Warsaw; Sisters, Kimberly (Mike) Ho of Canal Winchester, Holly Harrah of Columbus; Aunt Karen(Jim)Shaw of Coshocton, several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Dana is preceded in death by his Father, Gary Harrah; Paternal grandparents James and Helen Harrah; Maternal grandmother, Alma Vorys, and Uncles, David Harrah, Jamie Harrah, and Paul Vorys.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Johnson officiating.

A gathering of remembrance will be held after the services at the Three Rivers Fire District, 24199, Co.Rd 621, Coshocton, OH 43812.
