Rachel E. Lamp, 87, of Warsaw, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday August 21, 2023, at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.

Rachel was born in Washington Twp, PA on November 16, 1935, to the late Leonard Joseph and Mable C. (Claypool) Coverdale.  She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker throughout her life and attended Gospel Hill Ministry in Warsaw.  She was a devoted Christian, spent her lifetime teaching her family and friends about salvation.

She is survived by her children, Karen Lowery, Wayne (Debra) Lamp, Barbara (Gene) Hindel, Teresa (Joe) Grashel and Norman (Donna) Coverdale, who was like a son; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Lamp who passed away on July 1, 2022; grandson Luke J. Longeretta and brother Lon Coverdale.

Friends may call at Gospel Hill Ministry, 27610 TR 45, Warsaw, Ohio on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Funeral services for Rachel will be held at the church on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.
