Theodore “Ted” Towner

| September 5, 2023

Theodore “Ted” Towner, 63, left this life to start his new journey in Heaven on August 31, 2023. Ted spent his last day surrounded by his loving family.

Ted was born April 5, 1960 at South Ruislip Air Force Base in London, England to Marvin and Marylin (Yeater) Towner. He lost his 3 year battle with cancer before realizing his dream of returning to his birthplace. At the age of 1 ½ years, Ted left England and came to Nashville, OH and became the greatest big brother to Nora, Allen, Jane, and Raymond Towner. On April 18, 1998 he married Linda Looney at the Greer Wesleyan Church.

Ted enjoyed his family, working on cars, doing Soduka, bird watching, and Nascar. He worked at Red Head Brass in Shreve for 30 years. He was a great friend to many and would help anyone who needed it, never taking anything in return.

He is survived by his wife Linda; his mom, Marylin; siblings, Nora, Allen, and Jane; was a proud dad to Benjamin (Jen) Towner of Loudonville, Anitra (Chris) Myer, Jerry Looney, and Stacy Smith all of Danville; and he cherished his time spent with his grandchildren, Autumn, Rayne, and Logan Myer, Natalie, Anne, and Blake Thomas, Neaveh Looney, and Adrian Towner.

He was preceded in death by his little brother, Raymond; father, Marvin; grandparents, William and Lucille Yeater; and Aunt, Bertha Martin.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time. A memorial page is available at fischerfuneralhome.com.
