Prairie Chapel celebrating Back to Church Sunday

| September 6, 2023

On Sunday, Sept. 17, at 10:30 a.m., Prairie Chapel Methodist Church will be opening its doors, and extend a warm welcome to everyone. This movement, spanning more than 120 denominations, aims to encourage people to explore local churches in their communities.

This year marks the 14th anniversary of the National Back to Church Sunday (BTCS) movement, which began as a call to action and an invitation to the church in 2009. It has since gained incredible momentum, with more than 30,000 churches and more than 5 million faithful participants. BTCS is a day devoted to uniting the church, equipping its members, and empowering them to extend invitations. Remarkably, eight out of 10 individuals express their openness to visiting a church if they receive an invitation—they are simply waiting for that welcome.

Pastor Matt Wilson cordially invites the public to attend the Sept. 17 service. The church is located at 45494, CR 23 in Coshocton. For information, call the church at 740-622-3992 during regular business hours or leave a message.
