Belva Leona Langdon

Belva Leona Langdon, 86, of Coshocton passed away Monday, September 25, 2023 at Signature Healthcare in Coshocton.  She was born in Webster Springs, WV on April 6, 1937 to the late Corley and Arizona (McCartney) Hamrick.

Belva worked for 17 years as the dishwasher at the New Castle Restaurant, previously known as “Peggy Sue’s Restaurant”. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and doing the dishes.

She is survived by her children Kathy (Wayne) Garvin, Andrew Langdon, and Chris Langdon; grandchildren Mitchell (Tessa) Langdon, Yolanda (Jason) Ewalt, Catrin Miller, and Alisha Miller; great grandchildren Earl Compton Jr., Katie Compton, Dalton Riley, Destry Guilliams, and Desiree Guilliams; great nieces and nephews Brianna, Jordan, and Faith; and several siblings.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Langdon, who passed away in 1990; children Danny, Ricky, and Janie Langdon; and several siblings.

Per Belva’s wishes there will be no services at this time and a cremation will take place.  The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Coshocton is assisting the family.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
