Betty J. Markley
Betty J. Markley 68, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Lafayette Point Nursing Home in West Lafayette.
She was born Jan. 8, 1955, in Coshocton, to the late Hobert Walter and Emma Louise (Stackhouse) Eckelberry.
Betty graduated from Coshocton High School class of 1973 and was employed over the years in Customer Service at Buckeye Mart, Fisher’s Big Wheel, and Baker’s IGA.
On April 3, 1976, she married Larry A. Markley who survives; they have two children Melissa George, and Richard Markley; she also leaves behind eight grandsons; one great granddaughter; one sister Shirley (Eckelberry) Simmons.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Thursday October 19, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A cremation will take place after the calling hours and the burial of her cremated will be held on a later date in South Lawn Cemetery.
