RV girls win Coshocton invite

The River View girls swim team won the Coshocton Invitational on Jan. 13, at the Janet Jones Mulligan Natatorium, with the boys placing second to Licking Heights.

Medaling for the girls in relay events were the first place medley group of Ally Fischer, Lily Grewell, Riley Gottardi, and Britany Hammond (2:23.53), who were also first in the 400 freestyle (4:59.14), and the second place 200 free group of Kynsingten McMasters, Chloee Adams, Atyana Milici, and Kam McGinnis (2:23.35).

Medalists in individual events include Lily Grewell, first in both the 200 Individual medley (2:59.92) and 100 breaststroke (1:31.05); Riley Gottardi, first in both the 100 fly (1:18.46) and the 100 backstroke (1:17.60); Ally Fischer, second in both the 100 fly (1:22.34) and 100 back (1:19.87); Kynsingten McMasters, second in the 200 free (2:54.78) and third in the 100 breast (1:33.46); Ava Lewis, second in the 400 free (6:14.62); Kam McGinnis, third in the 50 free (34.34); and Britany Hammond, third in the 100 free (1:15.62).

For the River View boys, the relay of Jamison Adams, Kyle Roach, Colin Addy, and JT Allison was first in both the 200 medley (2:22.59) and the 200 free (2:02.70).

Individually, Colin Addy won both the 50 free (26.10), and the 100 fly (1:05.25); JT Allison won the 200 free (2:51.89) with Kyle Roach placing third (2:56.54); and Jamison Adams was third in the 200 IM (3:01.77).
