Floyd R. McCormick
Floyd R. McCormick, 60, of West Lafayette passed away at Genesis Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Cambridge, OH on February 25, 1963 to the late John James and Nancy Lee (Williamson) McCormick.
Floyd worked at Thompsons IGA in Newcomerstown for 15 years and Yankee Wire for 25 years. He enjoyed sitting on his porch with his dog, Bailey.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Sharon (Freetage) McCormick, who he married August 18, 1990; daughters Ashley (Casey) Buel of Howard, OH and Heather (Dakota) Thomas of West Lafayette; siblings Deb (Dan Campbell) Foraker of Byesville, Vera (Tom) Hammersley of Newcomerstown, and Linda (Roy) Russell of Newcomerstown; and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Fairfield Cemetery on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 2:00pm with Kevin Bates officiating. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
