2 charged after traffic stop at McDonald’s

On Feb. 5, 2024, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at McDonald’s in Coshocton and a K9 was utilized to conduct an open-air sniff for the odor of narcotics on the vehicle. A good K9 alert was given and a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. A large amount of suspected illegal narcotics was located and seized from occupants inside the vehicle. One male and one female were arrested on scene and transported to the Coshocton County Justice Center where they are being held awaiting formal charges.

On Feb. 6, 2024, 46 year old Brian K. Foster of Coshocton, was formally charged with aggravated possession of a controlled substance, a felony of the second degree, and 43 year old  Rachael Rosenau of Newark, was charged with aggravated possession of a controlled substance, a felony of the third degree.
