Injury accident occurs on State Route 16
On Feb. 8, 2024, at approximately 1:44 p.m. a deputy with the sheriff’s office came upon an injury accident in the 19000 block of State Route 16, Jackson Township.
It was then determined that Shae L. Dalrymple, 33 years old, of Streetsboro, was traveling East on State Route 16 when she lost control of her vehicle going off the right side of the roadway. Dalrymple’s vehicle then struck an ODOT (Ohio Department of Transportation) pickup truck that was parked and unoccupied off the side of the roadway as they were working in the area. Dalrymple’s vehicle continued east striking a guardrail causing her vehicle to go left of center and off the left side of the roadway coming to a rest. Dalrymple was transported by emergency squad to the Coshocton Regional Medical Center for the extent of her injuries. Dalrymple was later cited for failure to control. The ODOT employees on scene were not injured in the accident.
Assisting the sheriff’s office on scene were Coshocton County EMS, Jackson Township Fire Department, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
