Marilyn K. Gress
Marilyn K. Gress, age 82, of West Lafayette, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 16, 2024, at her home following a long brave battle with dementia.
She was born on July 28, 1941, in Coshocton, Ohio, the oldest daughter of the late Russell W. and Margaret E. (Wilson) Dunlap.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Russell G. Gress of West Lafayette; two children, Cynthia A. Gress of Gahanna, Ohio and Gregory (LaVonna) Gress of Wooster, Ohio; two grandchildren, Beth (James) Julian of Elgin, Illinois and Landan G. Gress of Wooster, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Alex Julian of Elgin, Illinois; two sisters, Nancy (Larry) Pew of Warsaw and Ruth Walker of Newark and son-in-law, Brian J. Border of West Lafayette.
Along with her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa S. Border and sister, Mary E. Zeigler.
In keeping with her wishes, Marilyn will be cremated with no public funeral services being scheduled. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
