Pickleball tournament scheduled at Kids America

| March 1, 2024

The Clover Classic Pickleball Tournament scheduled for Saturday, March 16, in Coshocton at Kids America has drawn 144 players from across Ohio and in neighboring states of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Approximately 70% of players are from out of town, playing a fast-paced styled tournament. There are a a total of 36 teams entered in the tournament.

The teams in the 3.0 and 3.5 levels will begin play at 8:30 a.m. and the 4.0 and 4.5 teams will begin play at 12:30 p.m. There will be two pools of four teams at each level and games will be played in a round robin format.

Each of the four players on a team may play in any combination but can only play in two of the four games. Strategy comes into play as the team decides which of their players will face players on the other teams. Medals will be awarded for first (gold), second (silver), and bronze (third) for each pool.

The public is encouraged to come and watch this fast-paced rally styled tournament.

This event is made possible by Selkirk Sport, a pickleball company, Kids America and 30 local volunteers.
