Bonnie L. (Uhl) Eberwine

Bonnie L. (Uhl) Eberwine, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was born July 31, 1933, in Wooster, Ohio to the late L. Virgil (Pete) and Isabel (Thompson) Uhl. She graduated from Millersburg High School in 1951.

She married Robert Eberwine of Fresno on September 28, 1956, at the Millersburg United Methodist Church where she was a member. He preceded her in death in June, 2010. Bonnie had worked as a telephone operator with Ohio Central in Millersburg and part time at Producers’ Livestock of Coshocton.

Bonnie was a long time member of the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church and the Keen Eyes Farm Bureau council. She loved being a gardener of both flowers and vegetables and enjoyed sharing both with others.

Bonnie is survived by two children. A son, Jeff Eberwine of Lima, Ohio, and Jackie (Bob) Washington of New Albany, Ohio. She has a daughter-in-law, Pam Eberwine of Coshocton, Ohio and four grandchildren: Corey (Kelsie) and Katie Washington and Joanna and Jonathan Eberwine. Bonnie has a great granddaughter, Emma Washington who visited her often. Bonnie is also survived by her brother-in-law James (Mildred) Eberwine, cousins Miriam Kettlehake and Mike (Gwen) Uhl and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 11:00 am with Pastor Bob Carson officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church, 198 E. Church St., Coshocton, OH 43812 or to Heartland Hospice of Columbus, 6500 Busch Blvd, Suite 210, Columbus, OH 43229.
