Injury accident reported

On March 4, 2024, at approximately 12:40 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call in reference to an injury accident at the intersection of State Route 16 and South Whitewoman Street in the City of Coshocton.

Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that William Casey, 74 years old, of Millersburg, was traveling North on State Route 16 when he failed to yield while turning left on South Whitewoman Street. Casey’s vehicle was struck by vehicle traveling South on State Route 16 that was being operated by Lisa Jennings, 54 years old, of Coshocton.

Jennings was transported by emergency squad to Coshocton Regional Medical Center for complaint type injuries. Casey had one other passenger that was identified as Alvin Raber, 72 years old, of Millersburg, Ohio. No other injuries were reported. Casey was cited for failing to yield while turning left.

Assisting the sheriff’s office on scene was the Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton Fire Department, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
