Work to begin again on SR 16

Beginning Wednesday, April 10, work will begin on SR 16 between County Road 6 and Spitler Drive. Two-way traffic will be maintained on SR 16, however, motorists can expect the following impacts to side streets:

  • County Road 6
    • Right turn only out of County Road 6. Traffic must go SR 16 westbound.
  • G&M Automotive / 3 Home Access Drive
    • Right turn only. Traffic must go SR 16 westbound.
    • SR 16 EB will not have access to these locations, only SR 16 WB traffic.
  • Spitler Drive
    • Right turn only. Traffic must go SR 16 westbound.
    • SR 16 EB will not have access to these locations, only SR 16 WB traffic.
  • The same concept will be used for all driveways through the zone as well.
    • Access limited to what side of SR 16 the driveway is on.

This project will replace the pavement on SR 16 from the Muskingum County line to Spitler Drive intersection. Estimated project completion is Fall 2024.
