Frances Rosalie Erman

Frances Rosalie Erman, age 82, of Coshocton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She was born on January 7, 1942, in her family home in Wills Creek to the late James Franklin and Blanche (Lapp) Foster. She was a 1960 graduate of Conesville High School and in September 1691, she married Joseph Erman.

Frances spent her life taking care of her daughter, Annette. She loved to paint and work outdoors, tending to her flower garden. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her much joy, and she loved being with her cat, Bootsie.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Renee) Erman; grandchildren, Emylee Appis and her daughter, Olivia, Kimberly (Ben) Yoakam and their daughter, Sophie with baby Yoakam on the way, and Lacey (Ramon) Jacobs and their son Roman. She is also survived by her siblings, Janet Fender, Louie Foster, Barb McNeal, Mary Crouso, Irene McNichols, and Harold (Brenda) Foster; and sisters-in-law, Alice Foster and Katherine Erman.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph who died in 2001; her loving daughter, Annette who passed away on March 1, 2024; sister-in-law, Ruth Foster and brothers-in-law, Dennis Fender, Jack McNeal, Jim Crouso, Pat McNichols, Jim Erman and Jimmy Foster.

A graveside service was held in the Mausoleum at Coshocton County Memory Gardens on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 11:00 am with Rev. Phil Hunt officiating. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
