Together Again

Martha Jane Hoffman, 92, of Coshocton passed away at her home on Thursday, May 2, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Martha was born in Tuscarawas County on September 21, 1931, to the late Clement and Thelma (Little) Eckelberry.

She was a homemaker throughout her life, treasuring her time taking care of her children and grandchildren.  Martha also enjoyed baking, sewing, and playing solitaire.

Martha is survived by her two children Bonnie Truex of Newcomerstown and Alvin (Pat) Hoffman of Coshocton; grandchildren Amy Mendenhall, Brandon (Jen) Truex, Chad (Jenny) Truex, Raymond (Deidre) Truex Jr., DeAnna (Andrew) Lighthizer, Courtney (Jonathan) Hill, Michael Johnson, Nicole Andrews and Kristi (Jesse) Queen; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; two sisters Nellie Walters and Rachel Nastoff; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Roy H. Hoffman who passed away on February 8, 2011, they were married on February 19, 1950; son-in-law Raymond “Shorty” Truex and five sisters.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday May 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM Noon with Mark Granger officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Port Washington.
