4-H camps coming up

Coshocton County 4-H has opportunities for youth to learn, make connections, and have fun this summer.
Cloverbud Day Camp is for youth finishing kindergarten through those finishing second grade. Cloverbud Day Camp will be Saturday, June 8 at Lake Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theme is “Going on an Olympic Adventure!” Participants will make crafts, play games, and go swimming. Cost is free and includes lunch and snack. Registration is due to the Ohio State University Extension office in Coshocton County by Friday, May 31. Thanks to the Coshocton County Youth Financial Support Committee for their sponsorship of this program.
4-H Junior Camp is July 5-9 at 4-H Camp Ohio in Licking County. Junior Camp is an overnight camp for youth who are finishing third grade through those finishing seventh grade. Daily schedules for campers include a variety of citizenship and teamwork activities, flags, daily sessions, meals, games, and campfires.
This year’s theme is “The Mystery Awaits!” Daytime sessions feature a variety of new camp experiences like swimming, crafts, nature, shooting sports, canoeing/kayaking, life studies, ziplining/rock wall climbing, fishing, and so much more. Cost for Junior Camp is $135 for all campers thanks to a generous donation from the Coshocton County Youth Financial Support Committee. A $25 sibling discount is also available.
