Diane S. Meek
Diane S. Meek, age 74, of Isleta, died peacefully Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Truman Hospice House in New Philadelphia.
Diane was born December 3, 1949 to the late Raymond and Fern (Quillin) Herbert. She graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1967. She went to Gerber’s Beauty School in Canton, OH graduating in 1968. On November 14, 1970, she married Jeffrey Meek. In 1969, she started at Cameo Beauty Salon in Newcomerstown, OH. She took great pride in providing beauty to her clients for 54 years, the past 20 years as owner of Cameo. Her clients were a huge part of her family. She was a member of the Isleta United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being in the Red Hat Society, singing in the church choir, Rachel Circle, ceramics, and traveling.
Diane is survived by her husband, Jeff; daughter, Jennifer (Tim) Kohler of Coshocton; sister, Darlene (Jerry) Miller of PA; nieces, Melissa (Jorge) Edwards of Virginia, Amanda (Carlos) Lamborn of PA, Jere Kay Gardner of Zanesville, Jana (Denis) Miller of Newcomerstown; One nephew, Chuck (Tricia) Turner III of Upper Arlington; sister-in-laws, Kitten Crater of Newcomerstown and Bonnie (Chuck) Turner Jr of Coshocton; great niece, Eloise Lamborn of PA; great nephews, Quintin Lamborn of PA, Clay Gardner of Zanesville, Alex Turner of PA, and Evan Turner of CA; step grandchildren, Eric Kohler of VA, Aron (Erika) Kohler and Adam (Elizabeth) Kohler of Cleveland; one step grandson, Gino Kohler of VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Fern; in-laws, Godfrey and Thelma Meek; brother-in-law, Jerry Crater; nephew, Steve Gardner; niece, Julie Turner.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 1 pm at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday, from 11 to 1 pm at the Addy Funeral Home.
