Joseph “Joe” Young
Joseph “Joe” Young, 72, of Coshocton passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 at Genesis Coshocton Medical Center. He was born in Coshocton, OH on July 19, 1951 to the late Charles J. and Helen (Doyle) young.
Joe graduated from Coshocton High School and worked at AK Steel for 44 years before retiring. He enjoyed tropical fish, riding motorcycles, and computers. He was always formatting computers or playing games on them.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vicki (Fitch) Young; children Dawn (Ted) Glatz and Roger (Teresa) Young; grandchildren Riley (Lex) Zimmerman, Alyssa (Brody) Langley, Dalton Glatz, and Emily Rust; great grandchildren Luna, Zaynn, Ariya, and Scarlett; siblings Brenda (Dave) Wilson and Paula (Campbell) Hess; several nieces and nephews; and his little sweetheart, Pookie.
Per Joe’s wishes there will be no services at this time and a cremation will take place. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
