Beverly A. McCurdy

Beverly Ann (Cox) McCurdy, 97, died Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 5, 1927 in Coshocton to the late Curtis and Ruth (Wiggins) Cox. She married Lyman J. McCurdy on Nov. 25, 1945, who preceded her in death Oct. 20, 2002.

Beverly was a member of the Bethlehem & Tiverton Grange, and Clark Twp. Baptist Church. She enjoyed many hours crocheting, cross-stitching, and word-finds. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and being involved in their lives.

She is survived by two sons, Terrance McCurdy (Janet Mercer) of Warsaw, and Lester (Sue) McCurdy of Coshocton; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Crile of Dresden; and a daughter-in-law, Linda McCurdy of Coshocton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son James McCurdy; and a sister, Jean Gilmore.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2024 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Sam Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. FischerFuneralHome.com
