New experience coming to Roscoe Village
The Roscoe Village Foundation is offering an exciting new experience The Loom Loft.
The Loom Loft located in Roscoe’s schoolhouse will be offering rug weaving classes. Each participant will sign up for a four-hour class with a chance to make a 25 in x 36 in rug that they will take home.
The class dates are Thursday, July 25, Saturday, Aug. 3, Thursday, Aug. 15, and Saturday, Sept. 7. The cost is $90 per person, and this includes all materials for the day. Classes start at 10:30 a.m. When signing up for this class please note that there will be stairs that you will have to climb and we encourage everyone to bring something to drink and a snack. The art of weaving is an age-old art. Learn the history of weaving as you make your very own keepsake to take with you. Class size is limited, be sure to sign up early.
