Sheila Fay Tumblin, 73, passed away at Select Specialty in Newark on August 1, 2024.

Sheila was born in Coshocton December 11, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Emma (Sampsel) Wilhelm. She was a 1968 graduate of River View High School. She was the former Coshocton Postmaster for the United States Postal Service, and retired from the Walhonding office.

Sheila had the biggest heart. She was very loving and giving. She deeply loved all of her family, and her grandkids meant the world to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Tumblin, who she married on March 22, 1969. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Baker.

She is survived by her son and daughter, Chad (Kim) Tumblin, and Angie Tumblin both of Coshocton; grandchildren, Zack, Kelsey, Spencer, & Brayden, Kali, Emily; sister, Shirley Wilhelm of Westerville; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow in Darling Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
