Lewis L. Hebron

Lewis L. Hebron, 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior August 28,2024.

He was born November 13, 1932 in Warsaw Ohio, son of the late Joe and Ethel (Shaw) Hebron.  Also preceding him in death was his wife of 68 years, Johnalee M. (Hamilton) Hebron; a son Kyle; sister Eileen (Pete) Norris; and two brothers, Clarence (Juanita) and Floyd (Eva) Hebron.

Lewis is survived by his son, Kipton and his wife Mary; granddaughters, Andrea Leask and her husband Nate, and Bethany Hebron-Saleem and her husband Yasir.  He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Elloise, Ophelia, Whitaker and Wenonna Leask; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was active at John Knox Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, until it closed.  Lew loved the city of Kentwood and served for 23 years on the Zoning Board of Appeals and he was the charter president of the Kentwood Jaycees.  Lew also served in the Korean war.  He lived a life of service to his God, country, community and family.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, Ohio where Lew was born and raised.  Visitation will be at the Fischer Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with the service at 11:00. Rev. Bob Mitchell will officiate. Burial will follow at the Coshocton County Memory Gardens.   FischerFuneralHome.com
