Michael Lee “Mike” Adams
Michael Lee “Mike” Adams, 77, of Coshocton, Ohio and current San Antonian, died August 5th, 2023, at University Hospital, San Antonio, TX, surrounded by his loving family.
Michael was born on February 15, 1946, to Glenn E. and Margaret (Pope) Adams. He graduated from Roscoe High School in 1964.
He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Mike was a Specialist in the 163rd Transportation Company and was attached to Task Force Oregon.
After his time in the service, Mike attended Lorain County Community College and Kent State University. Mike, with his wife Ana, invested in the Coshocton community, providing cosmetology services through their hair studios.

While many will only remember him as their army buddy, teacher, or party planner, his grandchildren will remember him as Papaw Mike, and he loved visiting with them, teaching them to love cuisines from all over the world, and hearing about their adventures most of all.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ana (Botello) Adams, of San Antonio, TX; his three children: Marko (Mary Kay) Herrera of Greenville, SC, Alexis (Tom) Larson of Westminster, CO, and Jay-Michael (Abigail) Adams of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Alexandra (Herrera) Rutland, Maggie Herrera, Jakob & Avery Larson, and Ayrton Adams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Larry Adams.
A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2024 at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, with Pastor Bob Wright officiating and graveside military rites performed by the Coshocton Co.
