Christmas Elves needed at Roscoe

| September 20, 2024

Calling all Christmas Elves near and far. The holiday season is right around the corner. Volunteers are needed to help get Historic Roscoe Village ready.

Volunteers start by sorting out the decorations that are on hand and then determine what needs to be made. They fluff artificial greens, make bows (learn how to make the Roscoe Bow), design wreaths using dried material and cones, and decorate the visitor center, including the tree in Lock Landing. As time comes for the candlelighting weekends, they will also be decorating live pine wreaths and garland.

There is lots to do with many different jobs to be done. If you want to learn some decorating tricks and be part of the group that decorates the village, then join up with the Christmas Elves. Meeting days are flexible depending on schedules. Volunteers work lots of mornings but can also schedule late afternoon/evening times depending on working times.
