Gloria Jean Murray

Gloria Jean Murray went peacefully to be with our Heavenly Father on December 15, 2024 at home surrounded by her close loved ones. Born on October 30, 1950 to the late John and Ester Hough.

Gloria happily spent a lifetime of loving and selfless care creating priceless memories for family, friends, one and all. She retired from the West Lafayette Street Department after 30 years. For all who knew Gloria know she loved more than anything to be doing things outside, going on vacation and spending precious time with her Great Grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by her 3 children Ronnie Murray Jr, Scotty Lee (Jane) Murray,  and Amy (Travis) Schumaker all of Coshocton; grandchildren Gage, Michael, Breanna, Phylicia, Travis (Daelynn) Schumaker, Christina (Derek Emerson) Schumaker, Chelsea (Landon) Arnold, and Christopher (Brittany) Schumaker; great Grand Children Bindi and Jacob Schumaker, Ava Tester, Lillian, Zoey, Lexi, Kali Arnold, and soon to be born Baby Schumaker; sisters Patricia Murray and Julie (Jeff) Dobbins, Brothers Roger, and Robert Hough.

She will be welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her spouse of 54 years, Ronnie Murray Sr.; brothers Carl Hoburg and John Hough; sisters Edith Laughlin and Janet Crossley. great granddaughter Ema Tester and Baby Luke Schumaker.

A Memorial Service will be held at Burt Avenue Weslyn Church, 230 Burt Ave, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Rod Uhlig officiating.  Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be directed towards the Burt Avenue Weslyn Church; envelopes will be available at the church.
