Reverse raffle to benefit 4-H program
The Coshocton County Youth Financial Support Committee will hold its reverse raffle on Friday, March 7 at the Coshocton Commissioners Community Room. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner is at 6 p.m., and the raffle starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are a $100 donation.
Only 298 tickets will be pre-sold. One ticket will be given away as an early bird special prize and one will be raffled off during the evening of the raffle. Each raffle ticket offers a $10,000 grand prize opportunity, free catered buffet meal by Mayor’s Corner on the night of the drawing, chance to win other cash prizes, and your chance to support the Coshocton County 4-H program.
Additional meal tickets may be purchased for $25. Each meal ticket offers one meal and a chance at one drawing for $100. Meal tickets are not eligible for the cash prizes. All meal tickets must be purchased by Friday, Feb. 7.
There will be door prizes, silent auction items, live auction items, 50/50 drawings, and cash raffles throughout the evening.
You must be 21 years or older to purchase a ticket or to attend the event. Ticket holders need not be present to win. Ticket holders may send an agent to act on their behalf but must complete and submit the “Reverse Raffle Committee Permission for an Agent Letter,” at registration the evening of the event. Letters can be obtained from any committee member. The final two ticket holders (or their agent) must be present to decide on disbursement of final winnings.
Tickets will be drawn from the barrel one-at-a-time and opened, beginning at 7 p.m. After a ticket is drawn from the barrel, it will be opened and eliminated. In the event of a controversy, the reverse raffle committee shall rule. The decision of the reverse raffle committee shall be final. One $100 drawing will be held for all $25 meal ticket holders, only.
