| March 10, 2025

The Rev. Hannah Shriver of the Solid Rock Foursquare Church will be the speaker for the second Lenten Luncheon on Wednesday, March 12.  Her message in keeping with the theme for the six weeks, Connecting to God through Adoration. The luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m. and ends promptly at 12:45 p.m. and is held at The Presbyterian Church, 142 N. Fourth St. across from the court square.

Shriver has lived in the Coshocton area for the past 19 years and has been married 11 years to Kurt Shriver. Her greatest joy is being mom to 3-year-old daughter, Ezra. Shriver has a heart for serving the community and its people and is a licensed pastor through Foursquare. She serves on the church’s’ worship team as worship leader, pianist and vocalist. The presenter for Rev. Shriver will be Larry Massie. Special music will be provided by Jami Kibler and Rev. Shriver.

Church Women United coordinate the churches providing the soups, pies and kitchen workers. The members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes provide additional support with workers. The light lunch consists of a choice of two soups, vegetables, cheese cubes, crackers, pie and beverage. Churches assisting with the second luncheon will be Roscoe United Methodist Church and The Presbyterian Church. Chef Mike Cichon and his culinary arts students at the Coshocton Career Center will provide one of the soup selections.

Parking is usually at a premium and attendees are reminded that an area of the city parking lot, adjacent to the church, has been cordoned off by the mayor’s office. It is hoped that this will alleviate some of the issues. Those who can carpool are encouraged to do so. The smaller parking area closest to the chapel entrance of the church is suitable for the more handicapped attendees.
