| March 10, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn Lorenz, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on March 7, 2025, on his 99th birthday. Born on March 7, 1926, in New Bedford, Ohio, to the late John N. and Emma (Schweikert) Lorenz. Glenn lived a life marked by devotion to his family and a strong work ethic.

Glenn was a proud graduate of Baltic High School and went on to enjoy a fulfilling career at Time Warner Cable, where he dedicated 38 years as a supervisor of technicians. His commitment to his work was matched only by his love for his family and his passions outside of the workplace.

A lifelong member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Glenn found joy and purpose in his faith. He was known for his skill in woodworking, particularly in caning chairs, a craft that brought him immense satisfaction and an outlet for his creativity.

On September 24, 1955, Glenn married the love of his life, Erma (Lautenschleger) Lorenz. Together they raised three wonderful children, daughter Victoria Lorenz Vazquez and son’s Brian Lorenz, and Randall (Kristy) Lorenz. Glenn’s legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Charles Brian and Emma Maria Vazquez, and Corbin Thomas and Nora Mai Lorenz. He also is survived by his dear sister, Clara Turner.

Glenn was preceded in death by his son Brian Lorenz; brothers Jay, Arthur, Edward, Leroy, Charles, and Paul Lorenz, as well as his sisters Lucille Jacobs, Catherine Lorenz, and Marie Anna Lorenz

As a family, they had been looking forward to celebrating Glenn’s significant milestone of reaching his 99th birthday, a testament to his enduring spirit and the love he inspired in those around him.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service.  Funeral services will be held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1500 Pleasant Valley Dr. Coshocton, OH 43812 on Friday at 11:00am with Pastor Bryan Kittner officiating. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in memory of Glenn, honoring his legacy of faith and community service.

Glenn Lorenz will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
