Hopewell Indians and celebrities face off

| March 18, 2025

Chris Wallace and his daughter kept an eye on the action during the celebrity basketball game held March 13 at Ridgewood Middle School. Wallace was part of the celebrity team that faced off against the Hopewell Indians during the fundraising game. The athletes and a sneaky referee kept the game interesting. Points were randomly awarded for shots, and the referee could be bought by anyone willing to make a donation. You also could pay to have players sent to jail. At one time the entire celebrity team went there while the Hopewell Indians had the run of the court, which in the end they ruled, 199-150.
