Betty M. Sampsel
Betty Margaret (Stone) Sampsel, 86, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at her home.
She was born Sept. 17, 1938 in Spring Mountain to the late William G. and Cecilia N. (Hamer) Stone. She married Robert W. Sampsel on Oct. 4, 1963, who preceded her in death on May 2, 1998.
Betty moved in with her niece, Missy & Rick Brenly, in September of 2022. During her time there, she was pampered by her great-nieces, Chaz & Travis Sheldon, Ceirra & Tyler Parsons, and Crisha Brenly. She loved when her great-great nieces and nephew, Hayden & Hollis Sheldon, and Chloe & Carmendee Parsons would come over. She enjoyed watching Carmendee and Hollis do flips and dance for her. Chloe would bring a chicken in the house for her to pet. Hayden would sit with her in the living room playing his game.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by three brothers, Francis, George, and Fred Stone; and six sisters; Eileen Crawford, Minnie Stone, Ruth Dishman, Mary Lou Dunmire, Janice Crowthers, and JoAnn Jones.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow in Blissfield Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. FischerFuneralHome.com
