It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifford Denning, a man whose life was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family.

Cliff, also known to many as PaaPaa, was a remarkable soul who left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His passing leaves a void that will be felt by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on in the stories he shared and the love he gave.

Cliff was a man of humor and heart, with an infectious laughter that could light up any room. His ability to tell stories—whether of his own adventures or lessons learned through life—made every conversation memorable. He had a gift for weaving humor into wisdom, making each moment with him feel like a cherished treasure.

As a husband, Cliff showed the true meaning of love, always making sure his wife felt adored and cherished. Their bond was unbreakable, a testament to the strength of their partnership.

As a father, he imparted valuable lessons, always guiding his son with a careful balance of humor and heartfelt advice. He had a way with words that shaped their lives and helped them grow into the people they are today.

As a grandfather, Paapaa’s role was beyond special. He was a storyteller at heart, regaling his grandchildren with tales from his life and lessons only a grandfather could provide. Each story, each laugh, and every shared moment left a lasting impression, building memories that will live on for generations.

Cliff was also the fixer of all things. Whether it was a problem with a light, redoing the patio, fixing a car, or simple tasks that needed doing, Paapaa was always there with his steady hands and unwavering willingness to help. He was a hard worker, someone who earned everything he had with integrity and determination. Cliff dedicated much of his life to his work, having spent many years at St. Regis, A.K. Steel, and Timken Steel, where he earned the respect of his colleagues through his tireless effort and commitment to excellence. His work ethic and dedication to providing for his family were unparalleled.

But more than just providing for his own, he shared his blessings generously with his family, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer his support. As a brother, Cliff was a constant source of love, protection, and care. He had a unique bond with his sisters, always looking out for them with a quiet strength and offering support whenever they needed it. His kindness, loyalty, and sense of humor made him not only a beloved brother but also a lifelong friend to them.

Cliff leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor his memory with every story told, every laugh shared, and every lesson learned from his example. His memory will be carried forward by all of us whose lives were touched by his warmth and generosity.
