JHM seeking sports collectibles for exhibit

| June 28, 2013

COSHOCTON – Do you collect sports memorabilia from college or professional baseball, basketball and football teams? The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is seeking personal collections to display in its upcoming exhibit, Unforgettable Sports Legends, which will be displayed from Aug. 24 through Oct. 8.

You may have baseball cards, action figures, posters, signs, score sheets, signed balls, photos or (fill in the blank!). Maybe you have an old board game based on a particular sport or team or bobble heads of the greatest hitters. If it’s interesting, unusual, classic or crazy, consider sharing it with others at the museum in a secure environment. We already have a great collection to exhibit but would love to add memorabilia from our local community.

Call or stop by the museum if you are interested or have ideas for the show. Staff is available from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman St. in Roscoe Village. Call JHM at 622-8710 or e-mail jhmuseum@jhmuseum.org.
