New director named at VA center in Columbus
COLUMBUS – The Department of Veterans Affairs announces the appointment of Keith Sullivan as the new director of the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center. Sullivan will oversee delivery of health care to more than 39,000 veterans and an operating budget of $164 million.
“We are excited to bring Mr. Sullivan on board as the new director of the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center” said Mr. Jack Hetrick, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 10 Director. “Mr. Sullivan has been the Associate Director at Chillicothe VA Medical Center for the past 12 years, and I am certain he will continue to be a valuable asset to the Central Ohio employees, volunteers, community and health care partners, and most importantly, for the veterans we are honored to serve.”
Sullivan joined the VA 33 years ago and has held progressive leadership positions at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center in Chillicothe. Sullivan currently manages an operating budget in excess of $180 million and a staff of over 1,400 employees serving 21,000 veterans.
Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Miami University, Miami, Ohio. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified VHA Mentor.
With 1,000 staff and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics in Grove City, Marion, Newark, Cambridge and Zanesville, the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center serves Veterans in 13 counties of Ohio. The Ambulatory Care Center is a leader in providing outreach services to homeless veterans, relationship-based care and patient-aligned care teams. In addition, the facility has established centers of excellence in lithotripsy and mohs surgery.
