Gibbs votes to provide fairness, relief to Ohio families from Obamacare

| July 18, 2013

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs (OH-7) released the following statement after voting in favor of H.R. 2668, the Fairness for American Families Act, which passed the House this evening:

“The President admitted his healthcare law is unaffordable and crippling to businesses by delaying the employer mandate.  Unfortunately, the law is just as bad for Ohio’s families.  It is only fair they get the same relief from Obamacare that businesses are getting.

“The Fairness for American Families Act, which delays for one year the mandate that individuals purchase health insurance, will provide relief to American families from the President’s costly government healthcare takeover.”  – U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs (OH-7)
