Idaellen Lucas
Idaellen Lucas, 87, of Coshocton passed away peacefully at 3:30 A.M., Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at her home in the care of her loving family.
Born January 8, 1926 in Montrose, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe and Audrey Wessy (Ross) Moore.
Before retiring in June of 1990, she had been employed as an office clerk in several schools in California for many years.
A member of Central Christian Church, Idaellen will be remembered as a classy lady that was an inspiration to all who knew her. On September 25, 1948, she married the love of her life James Thomas Lucas and the couple enjoyed traveling and have visited every continent with the exception of Antarctica.
In addition to her beloved husband, Idaellen is survived by a son James Mathew (Jane) Lucas of Hollywood, CA; a daughter Kathaleen (James J.) Rollins of Warsaw; two granddaughters Nicole (Byron Greenleaf) Borg of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Dana (Nick Gava) Borg of Warsaw.
To honor Idaellen’s request, there are no services and cremation will take place.
