Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for January 3, 2014

On January 2 the Sheriff’s Office investigated four accidents and one complaint.

Accidents

– PATRICK SCHATZ OF COSHOCTON WAS NORTH BOUND ON SR 643 WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE GOING OFF THE ROADWAY AND STRIKING TWO MAILBOXES.

– SHANE CAMPBELL OF NEWCOMERSTOWN WAS TRAVELING EAST ON CO RD 16 WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE STRIKING A MAILBOX. HE LEFT THE SCENE AND PROCEEDED TO THE ANIMAL SHELTER ON MORGAN RUN ROAD STRIKING A SIGN THERE. HE WAS CITED FOR LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT.

– JENNA GUTHRIE WAS WEST BOUND ON PLEASANT VALLEY DRIVE WHEN SHE WENT OFF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK A MAILBOX.

– BETH CAPLINGER OF COSHOCTON WAS TRAVELING WEST ON US 36 WHEN SHE LOST CONTROL OF HER VEHICLE , SHE THEN CROSSED OVER THE ROADWAY AND INTO A DITCH.

Complaints

– SHAWN BEACHES OF RHDD REPORTED A HIT SKIP TO ONE THEIR COMPANY’S VEHICLES.
